The text was composed through the words collected in dialog with a group of young scholars of the Mildred-Harnack Schule in Lichtenberg, Berlin.

Do words think the future?

We should start lightning fast.
How does change begin?

Approaching ourselves with mutual kindness 
to break through our consumer behavior.
Develop the awareness
that ecosystems are missing our respect.

The territory of our daydreams has become remarkably darker
People escape with sleeping pills. I react.
Despite all our efforts
our expressions tend towards black

There are no compromises
we will run on empty 

But commitment of nature is 
its inalienable instinct
To absorb our deeds without bitterness

Her caressing hand
touch us with compassion

Patiently she responds:
offers us knowledge
and her care again and again.
This is love

We have given it no further thought
but not two things can be more alike:
me and the people

Eyes don’t lie
We are a family with troubled love-hate relationships.

Waste separation for a healthy self-image:
Equal treatment instead of money
health instead of career
resist together instead of staring at the garage wall

in this period
we need peace and freedom of movement
we recognize the power of smiles, of emotions, of communication.

Books are ideal places of refuge
but the tickling music of water 
help us to heal reality.
